During a previous visit with this 4Runner, I had gone through the rock light system, worked on some of the exhaust, and built out a rear carrier for a propane tank and water jug. After cutting the front fenders and completing a body mount chop, the idea was brought up regarding the rear end. The spare tire was relocated to the swinger off the back of the rig, and with that being done, a tray was built to house an onboard compressor and some air horns. What was asked was that I rebuild that, refine it and rebuild the rear skid while still retaining a high departure angle.
